Spicy and rich, Redbreast 21 Year Old is a fine expression of an Irish whiskey, which was matured entirely in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks. The nose oozes smashed peanuts and there is some pineapple in there too as well as caramelised apples and some prunes. The palate is made up of spices, menthol and a hint of leather.
