This new addition to the Causeway Collect has been hugely anticipated given the success of last years releases of the Malaga and Moscatel cask finishes. This 2011 Single Malt spent 8 years in Oloroso sherry and Bourbon casks before been recasked in 2019 into Sauternes casks and left to quietly mature for 2 more years. Bottled in 2021 at cask strength, this whiskey has intense aromas of summer fruits and spice, with flavours of toffee apple, white wine and coffee. One for the collector or someone who enjoys the finer things in life.
